Welcome to websites-dev.uta.edu

We’ve rebranded! Our legacy blog.uta.edu hosting platform is now websites-dev.uta.edu. We still offer all of the functionality of the old platform with a new name and a new look!

For our current hosting clients:

  • All blog.uta.edu/SITENAME websites have become websites-dev.uta.edu/SITENAME.
  • All blog.uta.edu/SITENAME links will continue to point to the correct websites at the new addresses.
  • All vanity URLs (SITENAME.uta.edu) on CampusPress will not change and will continue to point to the correct websites.

Please make sure that you update your links to reflect our new website URL.

For our future clients:

Hosting a website at UTA is easy! The Office of Information Technology subsidizes web hosting solutions to ensure that our websites remain freely available to researchers, faculty, and staff.

Simply follow one of these links to get started. One of our web specialists will reach out to discuss the best-fit from our current hosting solutions.

* UTA’s Student Organizations provides resources to student organizations and clubs, including website hosting through MavOrgs.

Web Policies and Standards

UTA wants to ensure our websites web servers are managed in a secure and professional manner. To promote best practices and address the risks associated with the management of web properties, UTA developed our Web Standards Policies and Procedures and also our Brand Guidelines.

These standards emphasize the need for our websites and web servers to follow University standards for security and maintenance, accessibility, domain names, and to be registered through OIT.
